I'm probably going to buy the $99.00 pack because, as you write elsewhere, it's great value compared to other amp-sim programs, and I use 'real' Peavey amps anyway. Not even the usual 'chorus with a bit of phasing'. When I tried profiling and then using the demo of the acoustic 12 string, there was no 12 string type sound at all. Since my previous post I've also tried with a ES335 and a cheap Epiphone Wilshire with mini humbuckers. I tried profiling with the switch in all three positions as well. There's a little playback button on the (freebie) Takamine acoustic and I was sort of expecting it to give the Tele that sound. Yes, I did the profiling and there was a change in the sound, but the change just made the Tele I was using brighter.

(In case anyone suggests it, I've tried most of the hardware electric to acoustic simulator pedals). Nothing.Īnyone else had success with this? I'm not interested in the amp sims but I'd pay the full price (and probably more)for the whole thing just to be able to use an electric guitar and get an acoustic sound. I've been through the manual over and over and I've watched the video until I'm word perfect. Takamine acoustic - sounds like the Tele, 12 string acoustic - sounds like the Tele (not even the usual chorus effect), Les Paul - sounds like the Tele. It doesn't matter which one I choose (free or demo) they all come out sounding exactly like the Telecaster I'm profiling. I know many of the models are demo's but the manual says they will work for the time you are trying them out. Has anybody had any success with the guitar modelling (ACT)? I've been plugging away at it for a couple of days and I've got nothing, zilch, nada.
